Introduction
The goal of this project was to build a simple and intuitive vehicle booking system for drivers working with a taxi company. Previously, the booking process was entirely manual – handled through messages and phone calls – which led to miscommunications, overlapping reservations, and no clear record of vehicle usage. At the same time, administrators needed full control over the reservation process, including user management and vehicle availability oversight.

Development
The booking system was built using WordPress as the core CMS for scalability and ease of content management. Elementor handled the visual structure, enabling a responsive and clean user interface without heavy coding. To manage user access, Ultimate Member was integrated, allowing only registered drivers to access their booking panel and history. The actual booking functionality—such as selecting cars, dates, and hours—was powered by the RnB Booking Plugin, which also provided the admin with tools to oversee, edit, and manage all reservations.
The project was completed in 20 business days, starting with wireframes to outline functionality and layout, followed by the visual design of the user interface. Once the design was approved, the system was implemented on WordPress using Elementor and the necessary plugins. After development, the system underwent cross-device testing and optimization to ensure smooth performance, responsive design, and secure access management.
